I used Federal Automotive Service and Towing for towing service. They are very professional, courteous and dependable.Our car broke down on Sunday. Our automobile would not start, which put us in a difficult situation. When no other company was available Federal immediately took our call and helped us get our car towed to an auto shop in the area, When the auto shop could not fix our car due to a system problem, they recommended we take it to the car dealership for service. Federal Towing came back, picked up the car and took it to the dealership at night. Federal even took pictures showing the car was delivered, Federal Automotive Service answers their phone and always get back to the person calling. I will always use them for service and recommend them to family and friends. P.S.: If you need someone in an emergency, they are the place to call.

WARNING – Proceed with Caution The correct business name is Danbury Towing Auto & Truck Repair. Our company hired this shop to replace our van's engine with a new crate engine (which is a fully assembled engine). Romel asked me if I wanted a new engine or a used. I specifically requested NEW. The very first day we received the van back, it broke down. We had to replace both the battery and starter after discovering that a positive wire and negative wire were touching, causing significant electrical damage and creating a potential fire hazard. I alerted Romel, and I sent the shop an invoice for these repair costs. Romel initially responded, but after that, all communication stopped. My texts, and emails went unanswered, and I have since been blocked from contacting Romel. Shortly afterward, the van broke down again, the van had engine noise. Another repair shop found that the engine oil had been severely overfilled and had to drain and refill the oil to the proper level. The van then broke down a third time and required towing because of a fuel leak. A mechanic found a broken/missing fuel line retaining clip and noted that a zip tie appeared to have been used in place of the pr

My car got towed here because of no registration and no insurance, went to pick it up after the case got dismissed in court, and they told me I couldn't get it because I needed to have my insurance company call the owner of the tow company. I called my insurance and they said they have never heard of having the insurance company call the tow place to release the car. The man that I spoke to at the tow place could not give me a reason why the owner needed to be contacted, so then I took matters into my own hands and I ended up calling the police to have an officer help me with this. It was until an hour and a half later (closer to 2 hours), I was able to get my car, and even then they were still trying to get one on me and tell me I owed more than what he initially told me. If you ever get your car towed here, I'm sorry for the hours you will waste. If they were like this with towing, then I can't imagine what their other services are like.

Guy are complete tools. I'm a single mother that got her car towed, refused to have it towed back to my house, telling me i needed to go in person even though THEY HAD MY CAR! Then, they kept upping the daily rates on me, said it was $25 then made it $50. Romel wouldn't let me speak to anyone else, said he was the boss which I know is a lie. Then Serg wouldn't let me speak to anyone either. I asked multiple times for someone who spoke English and they just kept talking to each other and ignoring me. Horrific customer service, even worse at their job, not a lick of empathy these people. All I want is my car back and they are just making the situation worse than it needs to be.

During my emissions test was quick, been doing few years already and vehicle repair with towing service past years. Today couldn't find parking their truck occupied the space I saw others trying to. Really need to organize the outside better as needed.
